Roland Don Doom It's marvelous! It's sinister! It's fantastic! It's dark! I love this great band <3 \,,/

Marcin Wielewski I think the band exceeded the border of proto-doom While listening to "Turn In Your Grave" I feel like I'm sitting in medieval tavern. Favorite track: Turn In Your Grave.
David Yvinec

David Yvinec A great progression by a band that already had an identity of its own with Dunbarrow II. The album is meant to be listen as an LP, with Turn In Your Gate as an absolutely beautiful melancholic acoustic folksy track ending side one. Vintage and yet modern. Heavy and yet delicate. Although Wishbone Ash comes to mind, the lyrics are darker and more desperate, and the music more distorted and cinematic. Quite unique and beautiful! Favorite track: Death That Never Dies.

Fleetingly the fallen flash like floods before my eyes Memories so mesmerizing morbidly demise Run, forever fear for nothing fills your life but lies Doomed we are to fall and face the death that never dies Poison, pale and putrid plagues the preacher’s words Screams of silence rip the skin of voices never heard First came fear, second anger darkness waits the third Now lament your loss of life through lines forever blurred Caves of craven creatures crawl from cracks inside your mind Blackness bleeds from broken hearts that bonds may never bind In this sleep surrender souls that safety cannot find Those who cannot see this burning surely must be blind Bear witness, take heed this tower soon will fall And here I find you resting in the shadow of its wall See you not the coming fire hear you not its call Doomed we are to face the darkness one and all With deathlike shadows at our side

It was on a cold and windswept night far strayed from road and path Through barren country was my flight from sin’s eternal wrath Beyond the steep inclining hills I seldom stopped to rest Above the treeline further still breath burning in my chest And though my journey lead between the mountain and the sea In my heart you’ll be To jagged peaks so draped in snow that peril held each step But from afar a light did glow into a cave I crept The lights continued deep within and led me to a shrine Upon which crystal waters din reflections in recline Through halls of stone and trees of green Within my heart you’ll be And soon its voices spoke to me a shadow formed from stone My mirror image rose to be from darkness I had known There hanging from a thread upon which scales my sins did measure Was a sword, its shadow swung above a pit of treasure
3.
Gathering in pools of frost the worms of winter grow Sunlight paid its final cost and trudged a way through snow Toward a fair and southern land where welcome still was warm Far from northern wolf and man who stayed to fight the storm The glists of moon lick frozen stone and shine upon the cold When the worms of winter hold the throne life cannot grow old Not much was left of bone and blood when winter’s worms were done A feast of flesh for darkness flood The coffin weighs a ton And spilled upon the barren fields of lonely pine and oak In death’s season nature bleeds as winter’s hands they choke The glists of moon lick frozen stone and shine upon the cold When the worms of winter hold the throne life cannot grow old And when I watched the cloudless stars that cover heaven’s field I’ll watch them with you from afar ‘til autumn sheds my leaves
4.
Perched above a crowded field the crows await their turn Hungrily they scream between the branches as they burn In a dream the ground began to shift beneath my feet From the gallows I was laid to rest across the street Once you were sleeping now you’re awake Down in your coffin dead at the stake You hear them laughing cursing your name And you turn, turn, turn, turn turn in you grave Buried ‘neath a nameless stone stench of preachers rust Closed by wicked words Of ashes to ashes, dust to dust Six feet above you spreading their sin Prophets of falsehood wrapped in your skin Gathering fools like moths for the flame And you turn, turn turn, turn, turn turn in your grave
5.
Oh, I hear you calling You’re crying like a crow But down and down I’m falling The end you’ll never know Behold the maiden pale dressed only in her sin With ash-like skin and cinder eyes a fury from within Oh, brother behold the betrayer The prize of his mortal soul To lie and cheat and steal and kill for promise of silver and gold Now lament your wasted labour For when your time is through With all your silver and gold will your shadow be taller than you Oh, brother behold the betrayer The prize of his mortal soul To lie and cheat and steal and kill for promise of silver and gold See how they got you on your knees again Here when it’s all over you’re still fighting to pretend

Curse 04:44
They will deceive you unappealingly release The last breath held to heal you given seeds to soil disease In constant isolation lock your doors and shut your blinds In lifeless mitigation as the plague seeps from your mind Awaken in a bed of thorns the howling of the wind A call from the horns eyes of the goat watching me The tales of the sick comes with disaster As the wraith comes with its trick to lure sinful men As a craven I fled My humanity left behind Picking up the trail of my inevitable demise Lost in the haze cursing my fate lacking a will to forgive Devoid of all rest I can’t save myself from the impending doom I lay in chain I wail in pain I scream of regret My words is disease I kneel and I pledge Casting a shadow as I leave In the pale moonlight my skin turns grey My mind cannot fathom the ruin into the fray
7.
Lost Forever 04:07
Lost forever, gibbering mad descend into mountains of treasure You'll never fly with scorn for the sky clutching your items of pleasure Head in sand like glowing screen your evolution enslaves you How can you trust in the truth within when you bite the hand that feeds you Blame it all on what you hear inside you know it's true Though you lie in pride and smile this truth is drowning you That all you love and all you know of nothing it will last For even temples built in stone surrenders to the past You cannot forsake the pain your in bound to the stake and burned within All the fear you had in mind has now come to the end of your time
8.
Darkness thickens, breath quickens something in my way Dusk’s choking hand waning light its prey Dawn forever banned Panting, breathing, hounding me nothing left to see Fear clawing, gnawing at my skin exposing what’s within No path to find, staggering blind my hour of dismay Icy, piercing presence near Is there any way out of here Howling, shrieking, growling silence cut with a knife No place to run, nor to hide Every step a bitter strife As moon and stars crumble before my eyes everything turns to dust The ground crack and rise to the sky all has turned to rust Gazing left and right, no light in sight I roll the dice To flee and take flight and leave this world behind Gasping for air, scratching at my throat Oh, how I twist and turn Poisoned pools and lakes of fire Skins fall off charred and burned Gazing left and right, no light in sight I roll the dice To flee and take flight and leave this world behind I question my own sanity Am I destined for a life in this reality Should I run or wither away My inner voice left me astray Far from friendly land and shore What am I fighting for As the clouds form round my head a silhouette appears from the mist Another name crossed from the list
